In the spirit of celebrating Miami’s diverse, vibrant, and colorful community, GVSC is happy to hold its first event at HistoryMiami as they host its second annual CultureFest 305! We invite you to celebrate life in the Magic City from the Avenues to the Streets and take in the unique sights, sounds, and flavors that make Miami, Miami.
Join us for a jam-packed day of music, dance, food, and art. CultureFest 305 is bringing together the city’s finest traditional musicians, artists, and craftsmen for a day of performances and demonstrations, as well as drink and cuisine from our favorite local restaurants. We will also have the chance to go inside the Museum to check out the amazing exhibit called “Avenues of Expression: Street Traditions in Miami” and learn about exploring the streets as public spaces of expression, including Drag Queen Tiffany Fantasia’s Pride Dress and hearing what her experience about her protest was like!
Admission is FREE to the Museum and Festival all day long. The event starts at 2pm so join us from the beginning, or feel free to pass by whenever you can! We will be checking out various performances and exhibits throughout the day so stay tuned for more details on where we will be and when!
