The GVSC’s Men’s Health & Wellness Partnership, established to help raise awareness in areas of Social, Physical and Mental Wellness. Created in collaboration with the FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, it’s purpose is to improve the health and wellbeing of men who have sex with men in South Florida.

Through social distancing, the MIAMI COLLABORATIVE MSM WORKGROUP and it’s community partners developed the first-ever virtual 2020 MIAMI MEN’S WELLNESS CONFERENCE, a unique community-based HIV Prevention conference, addressing the needs of men who have sex with men in South Florida. Guests were able to attend 6 Free HIV Prevention workshops as invigorating and insightful panels of experts discuss topics such as "Transitioning to online services and staying in touch with your doctor," "Improving our conversations with people who use drugs," "Safer Sex practices in the age of COVID," and many more!

We’re excited to announce GVSC’s continued participation in the 2021 Miami Men’s Wellness Conference. The conference allows participants to CELEBRATE National Gay Men's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day in the age of COVID-19 Era as they direct attention to the continuing and disproportionate impact of HIV on gay and bisexual men in the United States. And GVSC is happy to be a part of this exciting VENTURE!

WORK HARD… PLAY HARDER!

The Tribe Has Spoken! Gay Vista Social Club served as the host for the official Conference SOCIAL that brought together 6 different Health Organizations for our philanthropic event: GVSC GaYme Night - Survivor MIAMI! Guests grabbed a Virtual Torch and approached the flame... because in this game, fire represented their life. Tribes played a series of Survivor-themed Virtual Mini Games created to test player’s skills to win immunity as they attempted to OUTWIT • OUTPLAY • OUTLAST each other... or get voted out of the tribe!

Three rounds of virtual games were hosted by local individual leaders from some of the best Miami Tribe Councils around…with 100% of the Total PROCEEDS awarded back to the Collaborative, and One Winner from the Final Team receiving a DONATION Bonus to be awarded directly to the organization of their choice, courtesy of the Gay Vista Social Club.
