You always hear the saying you can’t have your cake and eat it too! But what if you could? See what happens when a baker has to make her first LGBTQ wedding cake during our 2-part Invitational event: Mix-N-Mingle Have Your Cake & Eat It Too Dinner and Dessert!

First, join us for drinks at 6:00pm before we sit down to enjoy a lovely Pre-Fixe “Rehearsal” Dinner at the Cafe at Books & Books in the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts to include appetizer & entree. After we eat, it’s on to the “Reception” at the Carnival Studio Theater for City Theater’s latest stage production, “The Cake” at 7:30pm, to see what happens when a local baker is asked to make a special cake for an LGBTQ wedding! And of course, stay for Dessert as Cake will be served! Don’t miss out on a this special, theatrical LGBTQ experience!

But then, her late-best-friend's daughter comes home from New York City to ask her to make a cake for her upcoming wedding. When Della learns that Jen's about to marry a woman, she is forced to re-examine her deeply held beliefs as questions of morals, judgement and family swirl around them all.

Bienvenidos to the high-rise condo of one of our S Supporting Members, Juan Francisco Hidalgo, along with our Cuban co-host Member James Prieto as we greet each of you and start the night with a Cafe con Rum Welcome Shot! Take in the smell of fresh limes and old-fashioned cigars, start up a random game of dominoes, and enjoy the sounds of Conga & Salsa as well as some speciality LIVE Cuban entertainment!

Taste various Cuban-influenced tapas and hors d’oeuvres all while paired back to three different Cuban rum-based cocktails, provided by SelvaRey Rum. Cocktails will be made by our very own GVSC Bartender Jason Moreno and to include:

What better way to kick things off then by getting our bodies feeling right combined with our love of happy hour. Join as we celebrate the love of ORANGES during our first of its kind Mix-N-Mingle Orange U Feelin’ Good Fitness Happy Hour!

Start off your morning right at Orangetheory Fitness South Beach as we WORKOUT a healthy sweat with some cardio training and strength exercises to put you into the “Orange Zone” during one of our Fitness Classes at 10:00am or 11:00am, hosted by Ultimate Miami Drag Queen 2019 Karla Croqueta!

Then ENERGIZE over Complimentary Orange Smoothie & Mimosas and pre- and post-workout vitamin samples with local health enthusiasts. Afterwards, RELAX with some free massages and healthy snacks during our unique Fitness Happy Hour from 11:00am-2:00pm!
